The TTR125 has a pretty big and heavy flywheel
for a 125cc motor. It also has a really big weight attached to the back of the flywheel.
We chuck your flywheel up on a lathe and remove as much of this extra weight as possible
- approximately
20 ounces (14 oz. on e-start models). This is probably the best "bang for the buck" modification you can do for your
TTR. The lighter flywheel allows the motor to spin up quicker so the
power is put to the ground faster instead of being wasted spinning up dead weight on the flywheel. Don't be concerned about the flywheel being too light or the motor being too easy too stall. Even after lightening as much as possible the TTR still has plenty of flywheel weight
and the motor also has a counter balancer that adds more flywheel effect.
Turnaround time is usually 1 or 2 days. We can also lighten flywheels for most other bikes.
