What is a  Microfiche Card? Full Fiche Sets

Books

Service Info

Q.    What do I get when I order one of your microfiche parts manuals?

A.    What you receive in the mail is a "microfiche card".
It is the same thing that dealers used before they got parts
info on computer media. Many dealers still use microfiche
on a regular basis or as a backup when their computers go down.

The microfiche is a 4" X 6" film similar a photo negative with
the contents of a parts book printed on it. One card can hold
as much information as a 300 page book.

You need access to a microfiche reader in order to view the contents.
These readers are available for public use at nearly any city or college library.
Libraries keep old magazines and newspapers on microfiche.

Most libraries also have readers that will print paper copies from
the panels on the microfiche.
